Hello!

My name is Kelsey and I enjoy creating things that make me happy!

I first experimented with ceramics in high school, creating cloud bowls, a cat-themed tray and pitcher set, and a six-piece fruit set-- all pieces that continue to bring me joy to this day. Beyond that semester-long class, access to a pottery wheel or kiln was out of reach so I fell away from the craft. But! After 15 years that all changed-- in May 2022, I finally decided to take a class at a local pottery studio and quickly rediscovered my love for clay. Now you can find me in the studio multiple times a week, working towards a future of a studio of my own!

My style tends towards things colorful, cosmic, curvy, curious, and carved; my pieces are inspired by the beauty of Alaska, the vastness of space, and the shared weirdness of being human.

When not thinking / eating / breathing / dreaming about ceramics, I enjoy reading, camping, eating at Indian buffets, doing puzzles, taking in the mountains, and snuggling all the kitties,

Thank you for being here and supporting my art! Puffin Pottery is truly a passion project and I'm grateful for so much kindness and love!
